8th Grade Fashion

We learned how 7th graders like to look, but what about the people we share a wing with, the 8th graders?
“Nowadays, we wear Vans, Jordans, Miss Me Jeans, La Idols, American Eagle, Uggs, Aeropostale, things like that,” says Yaque Chavez. Juliaeta Velaquez--not an 8th grader herself, but an observer-- adds, “They like sporty clothes, you know, Nike, baseball caps, especially shorts, jerseys too.” We also wormed a teacher into the conversation. Mrs. King talks about how we haven’t been violating school code. “8th graders have done a good job of following the dress code,” she said. There are some 8th grade guys and gals who have a real sense of fashion. Some of these people include Chayslin Johnson, Yaque Chavez, Beth Jennings, Isaac Rosser, Mannito Vera, and Jared Crassweller. Chayslin Johnson is the pinnacle of color. Yaque Chavez really knows how to show her rebel side. Cute and cuddly is the norm for Beth Jenning’s outfits. Isaac Rosser is the image of sports, while Jared Crassweller and Mannito Vera show that simplicity can leave a good impression. |
